Shah Rukh Khan is back, albeit in an advertisement for a soft drink brand, after being away from the limelight for months following the arrest of his son Aryan Khan on narcotics charges. The actor, who is now working on the film 'Pathan,' shared a 45-second digital trailer on Twitter.
The gritty video highlights SRK's new style, which includes long hair and stubble, beautiful action choreography, and a grunge background score. The video starts with a man handing Khan a soft drink as he takes off his hood. The video then cuts to an action sequence atop a moving train in which SRK fights armed men while sliding into a moving vehicle, knocking out the armed men one by one while flashing his trademark smile and mouthing the slogan.
SRK's involvement in the commercial is a follow-up to his cameo appearance in YRF's 'Pathan,' which also has a cameo by Salman Khan. Deepika Padukone and John Abraham feature in the film, which will be released on August 15 and directed by Siddharth Anand of 'War.'
