Mahima Chaudhry, a Bollywood actress, recently spoke out about her struggle with breast cancer. Anupam Kher, a seasoned actor who is now working on a movie with the Pardes star, recounted her experience on Instagram on Thursday.
Chaudhry says in the 7:30-minute video, "Surprisingly, since losing my hair, I've received numerous requests for shows and online series. 'Why now?' I burst out laughing. She admits, "I don't even have hair.""
She claimed she had no symptoms, but when she went in for her annual checkup, she discovered she had cancer. "They said you had to have chemotherapy (done), and I burst into tears," she recalls.
